ADNOC – the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company, owned by the Abu Dhabi government is one of the largest oil and gas-producing companies in the MENA region. The state-owned company plays an integral part in the economy of the United Arab Emirates. Due to its substantial gas and oil reserves, ADNOC is an established player in the world energy sector.
Access management and control can be a complex and challenging issue, particularly for large companies with a significant number of employees, supervisors, and managers handling diverse roles and responsibilities. Granting access to the right individual/employee in these circumstances is highly relevant.
Panashi implemented a complete indoor and outdoor kiosk solution for ADNOC, specifically meant to manage the access control tasks. These kiosks could be used for access control and management by integrating ADNOC’s AEOS, -Nedap, world’s first software-based access control system.
The kiosk features an interactive screen with an RFID reader facility. The employees could either tap their card at the RFID reader or enter their plate number. The kiosk machine gathers the information provided by the employee, does the required verification and grants/denies access to the employees.
